2011-04-30 ASB Maki Sushi Workshop
We had a great time in this fun, hands-on workshop and learned the sushi skills needed to make perfect (almost!) sushi at home...
Our professional Sushi Chef taught us all the tricks and best tips to make great Sushi. We learned:
- How to prepare sushi rice
- Preparation of fresh fish
- Preparation of vegetables
- Two different kinds of maki sushi - Hosomaki y Uramaki
- Sushi rolling techniques
- How to make miso soup and “Kyuri no sunomono” salad
Then, after all that hard work - the tasting began - with a bit of saki, of course. ;-)
